The shift east has it coming up I-55 on my radar app…at least it won’t be picking up quite as much river moisture to redistribute..

Slight breeze and light rain here. Supposed to ramp up some later this afternoon but I kinda have my doubts we’ll see very much.

Sprinkling here in Lower Bama.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Making landfall now in Cocodrie, LA. Oil rig reported a gust of 112mph. Reed Timmer is a dumb ice.

I've always said if it rains in Mobile County it will be raining in 1 of 2 areas: Grand Bay/Irvington, or Saraland/Satsuma. It never fails.

And Irvington is where I live!

I've been here in Venice all week. Most wind I've seen in one band a few hours ago was 45mph. It's blowing about 20 right now with light rain. Total bust for us in Venice, which is a GOOD thing.

Houma area may be less fortunate.

Is that due to wind or water? I ask because one of our vehicles is sitting at the heliport in Houma.

We’re about 100 miles SE of MRGO, maybe 30 kts of wind, 6-9’ seas and a 14-16’ swell…nothing crazy, here.

Nice gesture. My brother strapped it down tight. No issues. Had water under the house, but that's why it's on stilts.

I always feel bad for the folks that get hit by a hurricane. I'm so sick of hurricanes and tornados.... but as we all know it's a part of living on the coastal area of the deep south... to my surprise before during and after Francine I told myself.. what hurricane ? .... I heard one thunder boomer lightning strike and that was it.... light rain mostly with very few heavy in between.... I was up all night and before daylight waiting to lose power,,, seeing my yard get tore up and such.... it never happened... I dosed off in front of the tv waking up to a quiet uneventful sunrise in town... it's kinda partly cloudy right now...

We had less then a half inch of rain and mid 20mph winds that’s it. I’m very glad that’s all we got and praying for all those affected!!

As of 0800 today, we've had .3in rain in western morgan county. Thats it. Maybe less than that at the house in cullman.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
