Hugh Freeze had no choice really. This is good for several reasons
1. Everyone knows the 2nd string QB is always better than the 1st string.
2. He can get reps in a win. Maybe.
3. A Freeze warning can be in affect.
Book it yall. HB is a baller ! Bet your farms NOW !!!!!!! 4. He wins the Heisman this year! Best college qb to beat NM.

Don’t forget the QB that those that have watched practices says is the most talented is 3 rd string, Walker White, but he’s a freshman that they say just hasn’t caught onto Freeze’s O yet. I’m told that if the light comes on he’ll be the man. We’ll see.

Hank has a good arm amd pretty good accuracy. If he does not hav to run for his life - i think he will do well. He is less mobile than thorn which could b a problem with our line
Very idiotic not to at least try him by mid 3rd quarter last week

Starting a True Freshman at QB in the SEC is asking alot though.

When did AU switch the game to play NMSU? They're playing New Mexico, not New Mexico St. I think they might have learned their lesson against NMSU last year NM State is aweful. SEMO should have won their game against them. If you guys down blow them out then it is going to be a very long season. New Mexico St Aggies are 18-7 since 2022 (with 2 wins over Father Freeze in that time span...1 when he was at Liberty and the win against AU last year) New Mexico Lobos are 6-20 since 2022. Yep, AU sure should be able to beat the Lobos. When was the best season of New Mexico Lobos football? In 1961, UNM finished 7–4 and won the Aviation Bowl with a 29–12 victory over Western Michigan. That success was followed by outright Western Athletic Conference titles in 1962 and 1963 and a shared conference title in 1964. From 1961 to 1964, the Lobos went 29–12–1 for the best four-season record in program history.

Freeze said Brown earned another starting shot against Arkansas, avoiding big mistakes and throwing a perfect strike on a 50-yarder to KeAndre Lambert-Smith down the right sideline. The Tigers' play still doesn't inspire much confidence heading into Southeastern Conference games.....
