You could gradually lower the water line below skimmer then wait.... then next possible leak area.... etc until you stop seeing a loss of water. Maybe a better way but that is the first thought I had. Hopefully not leaking at your bottom drain.

Assuming it's not vinyl. We had a leak and had a dang expensive pressure test done and turned out to be the joint at the skimmer. They cleaned it out and resealed it.

I would guess that once water drops to just below where it is leaking it will stop leaking, so if water level stops dropping then your leak should be just above that spot.

I can’t add to this, but there are some good points that have been posted. We have used everything mentioned. It’s a process. I guess I missed it, is it a vinyl pool? If so, it’s way past time to get a new liner. We usually get about 8-9 years or so out of one, less now that we have renters at that house.
