Waiting on doctors this morning had an ok night labs we have seen in the portal look about the same but that’s just us looking at them. Vent settings are down a tiny bit. Please continue to a lift her up.

What floor are yall on? Prayers continued We are on the 7th floor in ICU Lung numbers are a tiny bit better this morning, hope to work her vent down a little today, she seems to do better during the day than over night. The culture from 10/3 grew out today so she still has some fungus in her body which is to be expected it can take a long time to treat.

Slight respiratory improvements today we are encouraged, but she is still very sick. To all of those that have prayed for my child and family thank you.
They will begin to wean the paralytic today see if she can tolerate the vent with only sedation. They what her to cough and help get stuff up. Tiny improvements across the board on labs as well but saw fungal growth from Thursdays blood culture so still concerns and atleast a 3 week treatment course of meds.

Thank you to everyone for checking in, we have been frequently flyers at Children’s for 12 years so we are ok. Never in ICU or a vent so that’s new but we have had lots of family back and forth so have had everything we need.
Today has been a better day she continues to improve incrementally today. Going to be a long road they told us today the fungal treatment is 21 days but that’s ok we will be here as long as it takes.
Please continue to pray for her.
