Joneys birthday is first week of November. Wanted to get her something good for her birthday. I went to the lake with her this summer and watched her ride a jetski and saw her smile like ive never seen her smile. I told her i would be looking for one. I bought one off fb marketplace a couple weeks later and it made it exactly 1/2mi across the water berore it died. I lost a little money on it but got the guy to come get it and give me most of my money back. After that i was just scared to buy another used one. Well, this week i just decided to go get her a new one. We just got back from our first trip riding it. She was pretty happy, to say the least. I got to see that smile again. I want to also mention big #1 motorsports. I detest dealerships but they treated me real good. I would certainly recommend dealing with them.

Just make her wear her life jacket.

Yeah, no joke. If I had watched a boat that took off close to us yesterday, for 5 more seconds, I would have seen it T-boned by another boat, running on plane. If the driver of the boat on plane, hadn't turned hard left, he would likely have killed the man that pulled in front of him. He hit the mans boat directly across from the console. Driver of the boat on plane was ejected and had his inflatable on and kill switch hooked up. Made a believer out of me and honestly me or my son never wear our life jackets. That changed yesterday.

Oh and make sure to tell her to not run between crappie fishermen and the bank.

I hope you teach her how to respect fisherman and other boaters… I know NO ONE owns property on the lake but I have seen some irresponsibility from young boaters… hope she has fun with that bad boy and is safe doing it!! Get her a hummingbird with a good map card to show her the lake depth😂🤣 and let her rip!

We threw spray on 3 crappie fishermen today, should have seen their faces. Just kidding, of course. And yes, it was a "big gift", and to be honest a little out of character for me. I guess its some payback for all the times shes watched me and Joseph drive off going fishing and she was left at home. I guess a little award for really good grades and never getting in trouble. Shes just a good girl. Well, she might screw up tomorrow but so far shes been good. And i guess a little just because i can. I grew up poor as crap. Didnt ever have much. And shes turning 15. I figured this would give me a year of teaching her how to be safe and back a trailer and what to do if this or that happens. Then when shes 16yo she can take a friend to the lake, which might give her something to do instead of getting in some trouble somewhere. Just felt like the right thing to do so i went with it.

You know what I’m steady thinking about this and this could really play a crucial role in your sons shark fishing. Your daughter could drop baits and run interference for him and everyone have a ball while doing so.

I bet hes thinking about it too. The first thing Jennifer said was "i cant wait to take it to the beach". We had one before the kids were born. We took it down there and went to shell island. Dolphins chased us around on it and were all around us when we fell in the water. That was an awesome experience.

Great gift! I almost bought one last year for my bunch.
