I'll start the derail by saying Rock Island makes a good 1911,no its not a$5000.00 Cabot but it'll get you through the night.

I'll start the derail by saying Rock Island makes a good 1911, no its not a$5000.00 Cabot but it'll get you through the night. I agree but for $399 for a 10mm that most folks tell me is a reliable shooter. I wanted to pull the trigger but decided to hold out until I decide I can part with$1500ish.

Same here. Waiting to catch a used Dan Wesson Razorback or Kodiak or Bruin 10mm under $1k. See them occasionally. That’s my next gun purchase. Had better luck than me! Heck i ain't seen a DW under 1k in several years, and someone have to be an IDOT to sell a DW that cheap, and i'd definitely buy errryone i seen for under 1k ifn i could! I've been looking at the Kodiak for a good while, and I'll probably pull the trigger on a optics ready one soon...
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
