Am I the only one in this heat?

I’m trying some hardwoods.
Droppped my hat as soon as I got settled in and now fog just rolled in out of nowhere

Yeah the fog was bad here this morning it’s starting to clear now..

It’s a tough one this morning.

Acorns and blackoaks dropping make it sound like it’s raining all over with the occasional baseball being thrown. On top of that and the fog, I’m fairly certain the worlds largest squirrel orgy is taking place about 100yds away

Called it a morning. Not a deer to be seen. Will try tomorrow morning again.

Spike came cruising through at 11:05. I’ve seen him every time I’ve hunted this area.

It was cold in west Kentucky this morning at 40 but the deer didn’t do much. 4 people saw 2 spikes a doe and a bobcat.

In a hardwood swamp on some public land. Sitting on about a 75yd wide strip of land between a slough and a small pond, got red oaks raining around me with good feed sign under them.

In a creek bottom. At least the ground is a little soft from the rain Thursday.

It’s pouring reds up here but I haven’t found any sign under any of them.

Set up in between some water features on Cahaba. Was enjoying watching some turkeys feed through and of course a bunch of kids picked this afternoon to do some illegal plinking: AK's, AR's, tannerite, etc. When I heard ricochets I knew it was time to go lay down the law. I just can't believe these idiots would shoot high powered rifles with absolutely no backstop. I haven't strung words together like that since the Marine Corps.

Absolutely ruined my hunt. I hope the other guy bow hunting in the area is okay.
