Bauer brand impact was defective right out of the box. I picked up a nice Milwaukee M18 set for around the house. Ace Hardware has some good sales going on right now on them. What color is your favorite brand?

My only thought on this is; pick one brand and stay with it. That way you don't have to get 50 different type of batteries.

I bought a big Dewalt kit around Christmas, it was expensive, then I sold off the tools that I didn't need and damn near made my $ back.

Recently bought a cordless tire pump (off brand). Works great.

Milwaukee simply because of a customer service experience I had with them. Ended up buying their 1/2” impact after that. Expensive, but it’s a beast.

I went yellow and have the big 1/2' impact but I will say one of my Tech's has the big milwaukee and the Dewalt cannot match the torque. I would also suggest Milwaukee because of the bigger variety of tools.

FYI Amazon has adapters to use Dewalt batteries with Braun tools. I was going to get the back pack sprayer and use dewalt battery but they dont have that any more.

I have a makita set (drill and impact driver) that I bought about 10 years ago when I redid our deck. Been adding tools and extra batteries to it at Christmas and birthdays. When my dad died, I got his milwaukee impacts guns (3/8, 1/2, and 3/4" drive) and a drill and impact driver. I've since added a milwaukee 12v ratchet drive and grease gun.

I had several older Dewalt drills and eventually gave them to my nephew and brother in law

Makita. I got a set years ago because of a great sale and a coupon from a sales rep. Have added to the collection here and there. Love my tools. They keep up or out perform (depending on the tool) with everything else.

Makita, Dewalt, Milwaukee-- all three are great tool brands and are on par with each other overall. As said some tools are better depending on the brand.

If I had to choose again, I'd go with Milwaukee because they have lots more tools at stores and the coordination with the packout system.

I never knew how handy an electric grease gun was until I was tasked with lubing a seed drill. Milwaukee as well and that thing was awesome.

I’ve got Milwaukee and Dewalt. Us both a lot and don’t really have a preference. Both are good tools. Like mentioned above, try to stick with one so you don’t have buy different batteries. Only reason I did is I found and liked milwaukees small impacts on sell cheap enough I couldn’t not buy them.

I went with red quite a while back. No regrets for my homeowner needs.
I usually buy from Home Depot with military discount and free shipping.
But yellow is good too.

Don't confuse my user name with any sort of alphabet faggotry.

It only stands for drag racing, and Route 66 was my home track back in the day.

For the price I'm ok with Bauer. If I ran a shop I would go more $$$ but the HF stuff gets my blades changed and holes drilled as a backyard piddler. I did burn up a Bauer drill by overworking it AND accidently cutting off the air flow to it's internal fan but HF replaced it no questions. A Milwaukee/ Dewalt might have survived but I was pushing it hard as an engine starter for a stubborn pressure washer repair project.

I bought a Bauer yesterday and used it this morning. Works very well, we'll see how it holds up.

Especially if you use one of the locking chucks.

Been a Makita guy since the 80s; no issues with DeWalt and Milwaukee but choose to keep one battery type. I will say the chinese knockoff batteries from amazon are cheap and last forever.

Black & Yella!

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.
