The neighbor went and voted this morning at 10 and was in line for an hour and fifty minutes. The wife and I went at 2 and was in line for and hour and fifty minutes. People in line reported it was the same length of time at opening this morning.
With that being said when I scanned my vote the machine was a little over 1000 and the other showed 1250 ish….. How is that possible if it started at zero this morning? I can safely say more than 2200 people had voted at this location. I estimated 800 folks in line and it was longer when we left.The lines was constantly 2 hours all day. Does the machine batch in votes during the day?

Sounds like the crew working the polls was s l o w, and/or they need another tabulation machine or two at that precinct. Machines don't batch count , even if they did , that wouldn't explain your slow , long lines.

Heard from a poll worker that the final tabulation was over 3,800 votes. There is 7,600 voters registered in that precinct, so right at 50% turnout. I went around 3 and waited for 2 hours as well.

Sure seemed like on heck of a crowd. So when you got there it was down the turn in lane? Could have had a heck of a lemonade stand. Limestone county sur has changed in the last 30 years.

Yep it sure has. 30 minutes after I got there, the line was all the way down to Capshaw Rd. I had never seen turnout like this before.

Our precinct has 858 registered voters , we voted 57.5 %.
