Got a free .22 silencer with a raffle pkg. I purchased at a DU event recently.
It was good for the silencer or $345 credit, so I used the credit and am getting can for a .308 . Paid the difference plus the $200 tax stamp and away we go. I am going the trust route so my family can use them and I can purchase for family .
took 12-15 minutes maybe. Nice folks on the phone - also made recommendations / answer questions which was helpful to a silencer newbie.... Will see if the rest is as easy(minus whatever the wait time may be).

not to derail this thread, has anyone ever been checked by LEO while shooting, carrying or possessing a can? Technically they cannot ask for copy of your stamp unless ATF or maybe IRS. They can run serial # through NICS to check for stolen items. But, I’m sure things would be easier to just show them a copy of the paperwork.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
