hammerhead OP Booner Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 12,125 Saraland, Alabama	Got a Sako Finnwolf VL63. Putting a new scope on it earlier this week and noticed a crack in the stock, right behind the action on the wrist of the stock. I don't recall it being cracked last time I shot it. Any recommendations on someone in the Mobile area I could take it to and hopefully get it repaired?

Other than that you could call Stone they have a guy (can't remember his name) but i know who i wouldn't use again (and i did several times) 😏 Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

You could stick your finger in the crack. When he got through you could find the repair of you were looking for it but wasn’t obvious to a casual glance. I was super impressed. He charged me about half what I thought the repair was worth. Heck of a nice guy too, that always helps. I’ve taken several guns there over the last couple years. Been very pleased. Only weird thing is they won’t thread a barrel for a suppressor. Didnt get into why not and don’t care.
