I’ve seen more duck hunters traveling west on hwy 72 this year than ever. Must be lots of ducks over there

Thought it was Arkansas opener Arkansas opens this weekend. Will be a steady flow headed towards Arkansas towing boats or Rangers. Yep, one of the few openers we’ve missed in a while.

My youngest went past you sometime in the wee hours of this morning. Oldest will be going by after he gets off work today. I never would have thought about doing what they're doing when i was 20 years old...

Last year was time in a while I complete missed. Lots of money for a few birds last few years. They’re saying plenty of birds this opener.

A friend sent me some drone pictures last few weeks. Lots of birds mallards and gadwalls. Where they had natural water. Not pumped

I wouldnt give a rotten wood penny for ever duck that has ever existed all across the multiverse  I wished that sentiment was more so than it is Duck hunting is a status symbol and it’s getting worse. I’ve been thinking we’ve hit peak prices but I’m now convinced it’s a bottomless amount folks are willing to spend. I imagine in the next 10-15 years the average joe won’t be able to afford it but only occasionally at best.
