I remember several of yall complaining about the stock market a while back and someone on here commented that he wouldn’t be surprised if the stock market hit 45,000 in six months! I don’t recall who it was, but I’ll be following his lead if he decides to hand out advice. His prediction was spot on.

If you are picking stocks, one obvious thing to look at it is how good any specific company did during Trump, how bad it did under Biden. If they did good under Trump and got killed under Biden then it makes sense to focus on those to find discounts. A lot of pipeline companies might be found cheap right now. US mining companies also look to be in a good position. Biden crushed them.

FYI , Warren Buffet's Berkshire-Hathaway owns controlling interest in several big pipeline companies , they're also heavy in Occidental Petroleum and Chevron . They also own 100% of BNSF RR . I plan on taking some profit from other stocks and buy some more BRKB.

Fluor builds pipelines and just about anything to do with energy including Nuke plants. Fluor owns 60% of Nuscale a licensed by NRC , up and coming mini nuke company .

More than likely we ain’t done with the phuckery yet. Remember these big ballers are playing for all the marbles. We will come out on top but not without them doing anything to sabotage things. Been almost too quiet.

Sounds like some of you are going to take a big hit. I would suggest you rebalance your portfolios if you haven't already. And also decide how much you are willing to lose. Probably take a risk tolerance survey online somewhere.

100% equities, 0% bonds, I’ll let it ride the waves and care about the results in 20 years.
Primarily in Total US & Large but have a fair bit in small/mid cap as well.

If it is all mutual funds you have to be careful. Just because some funds say they are X-asset class doesn't mean that is what it is. Some can vary greatly. So, you may have much more international weight or more large cap (for example) than you think.

Either way, rebalancing annually (riding the wave longer than quarterly) will increase your returns. The asset classes are more correlated today than when Bernstein and others banged the asset allocation drum (mostly for indexed funds) really starting in the late 90's. When the large ETFs and indexed funds follow the market today it is kind of a double whammy for those who don't rebalance.
