I have 2 feeders a half mile apart. Both have hot batteries and worked on Saturday. Sunday both feeders auto timer went out. Switched batteries, reset the programmer and timer, still don't work. The test function does work. What's even weirder is another friend of mine had the exact same issue with 2 of his feeders at the same time. Solar flare ? EMT ? I don't know what to think. I have another programmer on the way.

These still work except for the timer.

Best timer unit I have found is "The Timer".

You can order them from West Texas Feeders or from All Seasons for $69, but may be available for less elsewhere. Add the solar panel kit and batteries last 5+ years.

I don’t know what brand of timer and spinner I have on the feeder I built but it sat unused off in the woods for 2 years. We went get it a couple months ago because one of our guys wanted to set it up somewhere. Opened up the metal compartment, hooked the battery and it worked like the day I put it in that feeder. If I was a feeder guy, I’d dang sure get those again. Whatever it is. All I know is everything is in a metal box that mounts to the bottom of the feeder.

It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

" The Timer". If you are in a club situation and have a bunch of Wild Game or other chincy timers, you will be running your ass off.
