When 3D printing a hand gun where do you get the internal parts and barrel kit? I assume you have a steel barrel , gotta have a few small metal parts and springs I suspect. Aldeer experts please enlighten the un-enlighted . How's it done?

My understanding is that most just slide a Glock upper and lower parts kit onto some junk they made at home. I've seen a grand total of one in person a guy brought into the store that was locked up with a live round in the chamber. I closed the case and told him get it out of the store. Didn't want any part of fooling with a homemade bomb
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Wouldn’t it be better to ream or recut a barrel on a real gun to change the rifling that is on file from the test bullet sent in by the manufacturer?
I’m coming at this from my personal opinion that someone printing a firearm has criminal intent.

You have to think of these guns differently. These aren't guns meant to - shoot thousands or even tens of rounds. You are hoping for 1 shot before it explodes. - be accurate to 100 yards, I am sure that the bullets are "sloppy" going down the barrel (also creates lower pressure) - shoot big cartridges etc Keep in mind, 3D printing is in its infancy.
I disagree. 3D Printing materials have come a long way some are very strong and can stand up to the rigors of holding a FCU and slide/barrel in place. As for the barrels, they are no different than any other Glock clone...Or Glock for that matter if you use a factory part. To answer the OPs question, you just use factory or aftermarket Glock parts if that is the frame you choose to 3D print. The most critical decision is choosing the right material to print with. Your standard Temu 3D printer will not run the proper filament so you'd need a higher quality machine. Those are around $1,000.00 ... Not too expensive in the grand scheme I guess but still more than I'd want to invest just to say "I printed that!"
There are two types of gun enthusiasts ... Those who have been F#CKED by PTG and those who will be!
