Are you sure it's yeast or maybe ear mites?

I was using vinegar and dish soap to kill mites , but vinegar is good for dogs ears in general. I can’t speak to the yeast but I bet it would help.

One of my Bostons gets a ear yeast infection pretty regularly. Tresaderm drops ( its a Rx) works good but you'll need to treat it each day for about a week for it to really knock it out...3 to 4 drops in each ear.

Ive had a couple dogs that had bad ears over the years. One, the drops and flush from the vet wouldn't touch it. I got this recipe from an old dog hunter and it has never failed me.
3 ingredients
90% rubbing alcohol Genetian Violet Boric acid (Harris roach powder from the feed store)
1 drop GV per ounce of Alcohol 1 table spoon Boric acid per 4 oz of alcohol
So, for a 16oz bottle of alcohol, 16 drops of GV and 4 table spoons of boric acid
I put it in a dish soap bottle. Squirt it in the ear and rub the ear canal all the way down the side of the dogs face. Then flush it out with another squirt. Supposed to do it once a day for a week, once a week for a month then once a month as maintenance.
FYI, its purple and it will stain. The dog usually won't shake his head as long as you leave your hand on the top of his head. I just leave my hand there until im done, then get back and let it fly.

1/2 distilled water and 1/2 apple cider vinegar. My dog has bad ear problems. After I found out about the apple cider vinegar, he doesn’t have issues.

They have different strengths with hydrocortisone or you can get it without. They have an ear flush as well

Not the right time of the year and may not be the root cause, but I was told that soaking green walnuts and collecting the liquid was a good cure of ear mites. I have not had a dog with ear problems, but I thought about mixing some up and putting it in the freezer. I also read where it is good to make worms come above the surface. That makes me think it might be a natural bug repellent.

I'll add that my dog won't let me squirt the solution in anymore. He is sensitive to his ears. So, I put the solution on cottonballs and squeeze it in and rub it around. Wearing latex gloves is a must.
