I agree with Topcat. I have one just like it i know is a 2yo. Theyll be great deer in two years. I doubt theyll make it if they keep coming out in broad daylight like that

What I tell my guests who don’t hunt a lot is if u see a buck that physically looks like a high school football player let it go. If it looks like a college player let it go, if it looks like an nfl linebacker shoot it. That one does not look like a nfl linebacker. Good young deer

Look at the body - tells the story. Older deer his legs may almost look short - more blocky - just wider - wider from back to gut and yea his back may sag and gut sag - history of pics helps tell the story and i love to follow them. Some times watch for 4-5 years

He has a little.bit of a rump.is why I would say 3 over two, but not older than that! That's why I said 3.5, idk why anyone else did
