Checking weather - wind not right for my 2 best spots the next 2 weeks. nNW wind is useless to me aNd we got a pile of that. Need East - se - S - sw - NE. At least they will be super fresh and i am yet to hunt either on that good cold day. I do see a NE but 100% rain that day and i gone on the only sw

Had a toad here before first light until 6:30. Its a good day for dying! In a pretty section of hardwoods - an off shoot of a ridge - only about 40 yards from main road on the edge of my hardwood sanctuary where i hav had a mineral spot for years - very pretty here. Be intense if he shows - be at about 30 yards - think he 6 year old. Prob hav to neck shoot him - he goes back n that bottom i b dead dragging him out

Only 1 decent buck on cam in last week. Pretty surprised not more being seen. This is bullock county. Hope this weather will jump start then rooting around.
