only time we ever rode it, didn't see anything! Don’t feel like the stranger. 2 times and never saw anything other than 5 turkeys and you would have thought they were ostriches the way people were backed up.

I saw some hogs when I was there about 3 years ago.

I remember back when I was younger I loved that place. It was eat slam up with big bucks but the last couple times I’ve been we only saw a few turkey and some bears. No deer. Never seen a hog there.

Seems like I recall the Park Service wanted to know of any hog sightings so they could go and try to kill them. I do know they don’t want any in the Park.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Never seen a hog in Cades Cove but it don’t surprise me. Those stupid things invade like freaking locusts and if they don’t do something about it they will be overrun with them soon.

Been to Cades Cove literally countless times and have never seen one, although I was aware they were supposedly there. Does seem like the last few times we’ve been, we haven’t seen near the amount of wildlife in general as we did 15-20yrs ago

Apparently they’ve been trapping them there for several years. I’ve seen pics of traps posted on a Cades Cove FB page I visit. I also saw a trap close to where i saw the ground tore up. I thought it was a bear trap

I saw one of the traps off the side of the road a little ways before you get to Cades Cove. It was in the same place last January when we were there. If it's one like this, I'm pretty sure that's a bear trap, not hog. Surely they'd have folks smart enough to know that trapping individual pigs is a waste of time ![[Linked Image]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/46883176995_54c6c4e9ca_h.jpg)
