Has anyone mentioned the Henry Supreme? Just saw it the other day. A lever action that takes pmags.To me it’s almost as bad as those tactical lever actions with ar butstocks and quad rail for ends.

I like the top rail. I like the idea of being able to put a scope on it if I plan to hunt and then easily removing it when it's just going to be a "truck gun" and using the irons, without having to completely uninstall/reinstall a scope base every time. It's too pretty for me though, I'd be scared I'd mess it up. If I could imagine into existence the perfect one, it'd be this one from Grizzly Customs, but with a little darker wood. Why do we like lever guns so much? I can think of 100 easy reasons. They’re the OG “assault rifle” They’re slightly less likely to be targeted by the gun grabbers because they’re not black and scary But mostly because most of us grew up watching westerns and they’re just cool
