I’ve been working on the natural gas platforms in the lower bay for almost 15 yrs. Never seen anything like this. The guys are making a snowman on the helipad

Guy on the radio just said 1993 was the last snow he had like this.1973 before that. Hes in Baldwin county

Houston is going to become one big parking lot. It hasn't snowed there in 20 years. Well, it’s easily forgotten I guess but I built a snowman there February 15, 2021. Technically, I lived in The Woodlands, but I consider that Houston myself. The idiots turned off the power too. And, it was significantly colder temps also.

I can remember 1 time when I was a young fella maybe 7 or 8 that we had a significant snow like this in South Mississippi. I’m not sure what year exactly, I could be missing it by a couple.
Had to be around ‘87 or 88.
I just remember that being the last time I saw any significant amount of turkeys on my grandpa’s place where my parents live now. They were in the field out in the snow.
I don’t think it was nearly this deep though. We are experiencing something significant today in Baldwin County with the amount of snow we are receiving. I believe it was 1988. I was in Middle School and I remember school letting out early. Had to walk from Highway to house and could hardly see it was coming down thick.
