48 news had a story on it but didn’t mention anyone died. It was the generic for rocephin they said. Wife asked me if I’d heard but mention a different hospital system.

Very common IV antibiotic given pre-operatively for antibiotic prophylaxis in surgery.

Yep…we found out earlier today. We have stopped giving them out. Not sure if a bad batch or what. None of my lot numbers are in the ones that were bad nor any of my patients thank God but prayers for those affected. Thankfully I also don’t give Rocephin shots out like candy like most urgent cares do for extra money when not indicated

What are the lot numbers recalled? Or where can you find that info? The nurses had the numbers and checked. I don’t know them off the top of my head. They found it online/were texted it or so.
