I was thinking that too. It must have freaked them out because I saw zero deer movement all day.

Several years ago at the farm in Lauderdale co we had a big snow. Deer were spooky as all get outs.

it's pretty easy to track deer after a snow. in the past Ive noticed their tracks point to them just hanging out around bedding areas for two days.

To have never seen it, mine have figured out pretty quick how to sniff around and dig to find corn based off my cameras on feeders. Pretty funny to see deer with half their face stuck down in the snow

Make sure you’re there when it starts melting off.

I got to hunt once in Alabama while snow was falling. Deer acted like it was dark. I had a mature buck, 6+ years old, wander out around 4:00 pm and just graze a food plot. Right up until he turned just right and met Mr. 257 Bob.

I must have been repopulated with northern deer. They have been moving pretty well. I have one gravity feeder and since it started snowing it has been occupied pretty much continuously. I have some great deer and turkey pics but have never figured out how to post on my phone and I am in the middle of the Carribean right now.

My cameras were active while it snowed and all night last night. Maybe it being the good part of the rut this week has them not worried about the snow as much

I let a fork horn walk last time I hunted in the snow. He was 15 yards away tucked up in a tree top. Really stood out against the white. I know he could see me. We played peek a boo for 30 minutes.
