My mom has a skweryl in her attic. I've gone all around the outside and walked the attic space. I've found where it's living, I just can't find out where it's getting in, but that's for another day. I've set a live trap with no luck. Even put out some rat poison.
Does Aldeer have advice on the best way to catch this sucker? I had flying skwerls. Live trap tripped, they ate the food and squeezed out. I wouldn't poison if you don't want the smell. I have some very sensitive snap traps a client gave me. I screwed them to the wood in the attic so it couldn't move. Eliminated 7 over 3 nights.

Got a bat in the old farm house years ago. Killed it with a Lowe’s bucket lid by lantern light at 1 am. I’m guilty of night hunting using a light.

This^^. My dad didn’t screw a trap down once and the squirrel drug it all over the attic for days until he finally died. I have also drilled holes through the trap, taken a piece of wire and wired it down.

Big ole standard rat trap. Peanut butter. Tie trap down with something so it doesn't run off.

Peanut butter is the ticket.
