Had plan to make some fried rice, so i made some Japanese bbq sauce glazed ribs (done a few chops also) to go with the rice, was originally gonna just do them in the oven, but decided to smoke 'em for a bit (close to 3 hours) and i flipped em as can see in pic, and i don't do that, but did here because i wanted some good color and little bit of bark before putting in pan and finishing in the oven. Welp they ended up purty dang good and so did the rice! Also a few days ago my cousin dropped off a dozen quarts of Oysters (they was some good uns too) and i brought home 2, i had already decided to make Alligator pork sausage dogs BUT my son asked me to fry up some Oysters so i did. And i just decided to bust out the Po'boy bread and toss a link of sausage on there with Oysters and Craw pickles (had some extra hot Boudin too) was really good. Yesterday decided on a Oyster Rockefeller Po'boy, was great accept I'd already ate half when i remembered the bacon i had fried the day before, to crumble on top 🙄 But was still great... Oh and had some ribs left (pulled the others for rice) because my yungins weren't here lol, so i whipped up simple Mac N Cheese the nxt day... Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
