Anybody ever done it for a summer plot? Success? Failure?

Have not done it but most summer crops are large seeded and need to b buried. Maybe something like a vetch would work.

I’ve had good results with vetch and okay results with buckwheat.
I’m going to be trying sorghum and millet this year in one spot and those and cowpeas, beans and a few other things elsewhere. We’ll see. The peas and the beans I think really want to be at least an inch deep and they will get between surface and 1/4” from me.
