I guess weve all heard that we need to trust the Lord. I personally believe the whole Bible is an effort of the Lord to get us to trust him. Salvation itself is based on trusting God. But in an individuals life, what does trusting God look like? I think first you would have to trust his word, just believe what it says. Then theres the Spirit, Gods connection with our soul. We will have to learn to trust the Spirit. I know if you trust it and follow it, it gets louder and clearer. Theres Bible to that, you can dig it out. On the other hand, if you quinch the Spirit, or turn it away, that to will get easier each time untill the Spirit gets so quiet we seldom hear it and never pay attention to it. Ive certainy lived both sides of that and i can say for sure which way turns out better. I guess for a beginner, the word is what youll have to trust first, just believe it is the blueprint for a better way and walk in it. But that certainly isnt all there is. Jesus said he would send back the comforter, which is the Spirit. If we will be receptive of the Spirit, we will certainly find comfort and peace. Life can become a journey we can travel fully trusting God. Even when we cant understand, even when we cant visually see that next step. We take that next step because we trust God and we believe he has a plan for our life. I know theres alot more to this than what ive mentioned here but its a good place to start. One thing is for certain, if you trully trust God, he will never let you down. He is who he says he is and he will do what he says he will do and he will do it for anyone who seeks him. Thats all Bible too, you can dig it out. Love yall and i pray youre trusting God. He is worthy of our trust.

Thank you for this post Joseph - I needed to read these words today… almost seems like you wrote this for me to see.

Amen, Joseph!!! I try to read scripture every day but fail. I do give thanks every day and feel guidance filling me when I'm weak.
Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.
