Goatkiller 14 point Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 9,865 B'ham	I watched a couple kids shoot deer with a AR platform 350 Legend and wound up getting one myself for "youth" hunts. I have been generally impressed with the 350 Legend. I do believe it is best at shorter ranges. For hogs and deer around 100yards it will kill the crap out of something. I'd get an AR platform I think that is what this round is best suited for. In a bolt gun you've got more and better options. No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I never go on a hunting trip anywhere that it’s not in the truck. Small, lightweight, accurate and no recoil to speak of. I never tried any other rounds because I’m not sure it could shoot any better then the Win 180gr sp. It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

I originally picked up a 300 BO barrel to play with but it became OBE when the 350 Legend came out. Easier to reload and better ballistics. Just need the time to work up something for my Shaw barrelled upper. For deer and up, it won't replace a 450 Bushmaster for those that don't mind a thump on both ends.
