Yup. But using it for offsetting the sting of tariffs until prices normalize would be a good idea. Paying off the debt in a nice big chunk also would help. And severance pay for the useless government employees who are getting fired also would be a fair use of that money. Then there is also social security, medicare, medicade, etc..

Maybe, instead, they should put some of this money they're finding/saving toward reducing the National Debt a little instead of driving up inflation even more

I am 100% for reparations with only 1 prerequisite: They can only be paid directly to a [living] former slave, and must come directly from the [living] entity who enslaved them. In any case that meets that requirement, I am all for it.
