How bout this. If it's just myself I like to sit at the bar with my back to a wall near the kitchen with eyes on the front door. I don't need or want to tie up a server or table so you Goobers don't have to wait I can see who or what's coming inside I'm near the kitchen for an exit if need be I have a capable bartender handy and I can draw without attracting attention when those useless dopeheads get the munchies. #Neverenoughloadedsparemagazines. While I personally will park at the far end and walk in, I do get extremely pissy when I see a perfectly healthy asshole get out of a handicap spot and walk inside. I don't give a damn if they have a tag or not. I know a lot of folks who have those tags that belonged to meemaw and mama, but the doc keeps signing off on them. For me, it's a bigger tragedy than Social Security theft. Half the time a person is waiting in the driver seat while the fat ass walks inside to shop.
Handicap has become a Social Justice privilege for black people. It's black folk 90-100% of the time.
Meanwhile, my 90yo grandfather was repeatedly denied a handicap tag. He had an artificial leg and his good leg wasn't great. I'd drop him at the front door, get him in a chair, wheel him in, then drive to the far side of the parking lot. Walking in, the handicap spots were full of 30yo blacks who were perfectly capable of parking with the rest of society. It's a little known perk they get and it pissed me the hell off.
I'm done. Ya'll can start a small camp fire with the wood from the soap box.

The walmarks on 157 in cullman has about 50 pickup parking spots. I said the other day i was gonna start parking there. Never more than 3 or 4 filled. Same in Scottsboro. I do park there.

So what’s next, special spots for people that are only buying 10 items or less at the grocery store? How about after that we have spots strictly for people going through self checkout? I’m fine with a reasonable amount of handicap spots, veterans parking spots, and we could even throw in some elderly parking spots. But special spots for a regular everyday person that wants someone else to do their grocery shopping for them, I don’t agree with that. Grocery pickup is great. Saves a chit load of time. I can’t find half the crap in the stores anyways. Kroger delivery is even better. We don’t even have a Kroger around here but we can order online and schedule the delivery when it’s convenient and it’s usually cheaper than even Walmart grocery, much less Publix or Winn Dixie.

I stopped at the front entrance of heartsouth last week, got my dad out, put him in the wheelchair and wheeled him inside while I went to park. Happened to notice an empty handicap spot with a short ramp off the sidewalk. I parked there so that I could wheel dad to the truck after his appointment and avoid circling the parking lot to pick him up. Some Karen got her panties in a wad when stepped out and didn't appear to be handicapped. I just smiled politely and walked on past her.

I don’t understand why the “pick up order spots” need to be at the front. They could be at the rear of the parking lot. Give your walk in customers the spots up front and tell employees to walk the pick up orders to the rear of the lot. Been saying this exact same thing for years.
