We have some friends that have laying hens. They give us all the eggs we want and we give them veggies from the garden and fresh fish and shrimp when we catch them. They used to come out way ahead but now I think we’re on top with the price of eggs. It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

I make a whole loaf of bread into French toast, flash freeze them on cookie sheets and wax paper. Kids love them cooked in the toaster oven or in a skillet straight out of the freezer.
