I guess when he was coming up folks involved in Broadway plays were not all freak shows. He was a supporting actor in a lot of his films he's known for which is why he didn't win more awards the movies would not have been as good without him. His 2 most underrated lead roles were probably Hoosiers and Bat 21. No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
