Doubt it was Carbon Monoxide. They were in separate rooms and looked as if they fell out suddenly. Generally with CO the victims go to sleep peacefully and not suddenly. I've not heard enough yet to form an opinion, other than to probably rule out CO.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

“Santa Fe detectives applied for a search warrant to thoroughly investigate the house after the bodies were discovered ... and, in it, a detective wrote he believes "the death of the two deceased individuals to be suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation because the reporting party found the front door of the residence unsecured and opened, deputies observed a healthy dog running loose on the property, another healthy dog near the deceased female, a deceased dog laying 10-15 feet from the deceased female in a closet of the bathroom, the heater being moved, the pill bottle being opened and pills scattered next to the female, the male decedent being located in a separate room of the residence, and no obvious signs of a gas leak."
“Pills were strewn about the counter and a space heater was found near Betsy's body, which authorities say showed some signs of mummification. Hackman was found nearby and appears to have fallen based on where his sunglasses were next to him.
Hackman was 95 and Arakawa was 63.”

Said they had been dead awhile. Kinda mummified.

This case is very weird, If in fact the door was found open then the 2 dogs could get out and rummage for food and the dead dog died of starvation not leaving the masters. Jawbone is right on the CO. Logic tells me something is very fishy but if there was no foul play, here is a scenario. The old man dies and falls out in the mud room. Wife finds him and is so distraught she OD's and is found in the bathroom. One pooch wont leave her side and starves, the other 2 get outside and fend for themselves.
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!

^ @jdhunter2001
why is she "mummified" but not him?
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Think at one time, he had been in more films than any other actor. He was in a bunch and a bunch of good ones , but I doubt he's close to #1.

why is she "mummified" but not him? "A search warrant affidavit obtained by Fox News Digital revealed that Hackman's wife was found decomposed with bloating on her face and mummification in her hands and feet. Hackman was found to have the same signs of decomposition as his wife. "

Looks like the actor with the highest gross $ , who has starred or supported in high rated movies and is fairly high on movie credit list is Samuel L Jackson . Who knew.

Last time I saw a pic of him, he was shriveled up with an apple pie and a coffee in his hand. Like stated above, fell out walking in the house, wife found him. She did her own demise the way she wanted.....except, she did the same with her favorite dog and put him in the closet.
