I am an educator and plan to go during spring break, but I was looking for outfitter recommendations. I would like to do a paid hunt with a guide just to see what it is all about. I'm confident I can do it myself with a little practice, but wanted to go with someone to begin with. I am open to outfitters in Alabama. Thanks for the suggestions on someone reputable.

Your best bet is to go tag along with someone and learn from them. An outfitter probably isn’t going to take much time to teach when he’s trying to be making money The state has a Turkey 101 seminar put on by the DCNR that is a good way to scratch the surface If you have property to hunt that has turkeys to kill you might find some here willing.
