It was like you were going on vacation or a trip, it was that exciting to me. The bill dance show might be the only decent kid show on tv on a Saturday or Sunday. There wasn’t 1000 channels with shows every hour like now. Let’s just say it was a big deal. McClellan on Saturdays with my Mom, and spending a many allowances at the PX on fishing stuff.... Man, Life sure was a lot simpler back then.....Thanks globe, that's a great memory for me.... Did you know that Beer Nutz are over a Dollar...and Deer Nutz are under a Buck...

I always looked forward to that Outdoor Life and reading the latest Pat McManus piece. That was good living back in the day. Don't let life get in the way of living
