My family and a friend’s family will be in the Mobile area for Spring Break. I would like to find a someone offering Mobile Delta tours. I found a couple places offering your standard 45 minute airboat rides, but I was hoping there might be something more extensive. I have never ventured off into the Delta but if there was a boat tour in the 2 or 3 hour range that really went deep in there and highlighted interesting natural and historic features I would be interested.

Open to ideas y’all may have. Thank you

Blakely State Park is offering tours to the USS United States.

I’m not sure where the SS United States is docked but I think it’s getting turned into a reef correct? It’s a big ocean liner I believe.

If I were you I would try to get the Blakeley tour of the upper delta. I’m not sure it would be available, but the upper delta is so much more interesting that the lower delta marsh. That’s just my opinion though.

USS America I saw it coming into Mobile bay ,,,,it would be a great ship for movies... but gonna sink her.... I was hoping Mobile would get the Aircraft carrier Enterprise here to be an awesome museum next to the Alabama.... that darn radioactive stuff kind pretty much killed that idea...

Look up Ben Raines on Facebook. I’d probably tell him to skip the Clotilda portion and just focus on the natural.
