Dang. We tried growing them a few years ago. We never had success.
There leaves were delicious though when we mixed with collards.

At every leaf stem, there’ll be a brussel sprout. I harvest them from the bottom up, as they mature. I went ahead and cut them off so I could flip the bed and get it ready for spring planting.

My cousin was starting gardening and planted some. My mother went by to visit and commented on how pretty they were. He said I guess that they aren’t gonna make. She flipped up a leaf and said they are loaded. He well I’ll be danged, had no idea they were under there, haha
