Sure wish Berkshire Hathaway would have bought it . I'd feel better about it.

Absolutely NOT, they do two different things. BlackRock manages OPM. Berk is a gigantic conglomerate , that owns companies out right and buys huge blocks of stock in others. Berkshire Hathaway can buy BlackRock with cash X2 and have cash left over.

Blackrock was the major company that had to be legislated against by states who did not want their retirement funds put into DEI investments. Alabama RSA got a lot of heat and had to do things to get Blackrock managed funds out of DEI policy investments. I doubt they ever got it all cleared from Blackrock before Trump came back.

Blackrock lobbied hard and paid off Alabama legislators to end RSA and let them get their hands on our retirement money.

Yep, liberal DEI $ managers, known for strong arm tactics. Heck, the CEO's last name is Fink, go figure.

Last I heard, Blackrock had ties to both shooters that attempted to assassinate Trump. No doubt in my mind whatsoever they had a big role. I've seen big companies broke up in my short lifetime. How the hell does Blackrock not get on that radar too?

I'd feel a whole lot better too. Blackrock has always bothered me. BlackRock grew faster than should have been possible for them to do organically. Some group or certain individuals are pulling strings behind them and pushing them to the top. Compare them to Fidelity, State Street Global, and Vanguard over the same periods. Annual growth rates and annual % increases in assets under their control are not even remotely close, while the other big 3 that have been around much much longer are all right in line with each other.

The one leading the charge against RSA was a Republican State legislator named Arthur Orr. Don't know anything about him except we wouldn't get along and if I ever met him I'd probably be hoping he'd give me a legit reason to punch his lights out.

They got in charge of several other pensions and bankrupted them. Certain politicians were hoping to get ahold of our money.
