Ford done an amazing job on the brake pads. My wife’s truck just hit 71,000 miles. Had the original tires changed last week, and noticed the brake pads was getting pretty low. Got all new pads and changed them today. I’ve worked on brakes from a 66 F100 to this 13 model F150 and these new ones was about the easiest set I ever done. Had all 4 swapped in less than a hour. That’s from pulling the truck into the shop to backing it out. Super simple and just a few tools required. Maybe this new stuff does has it perks. And 2013 is pretty new to me. smile smile

Same with our f550 work truck. Remove tires . 2 bolt hold calipers on . . Hardest thing is pushing pistons back in . Easy pesy.

Toyotas are quick and easy also, including rotor change .

Well, I changed em on my wife's car not long ago. 2013 edge. There was some bell looking thing that had to come off. I stripped it. An hour long job turned into a 3 hour job. That bell looking thing was a noise dampener. It didn't go back on the rotor.
