Got to meet them when they stayed at the Holiday Inn I worked at across from the Mobile Auditorium. Was a fan since hearing Black Diamond the first time. While I like the song Detroit Rock City, it helped to reveal a rift in the band. Gene and Paul wanted a more radio friendly sound and relied on the producer, Mutt Lange, to arrange a lot of the music. Ace hated this and reportedly threw his guitar across the studio after playing the solo written by Mutt for this song. Dying ain't much of a living boy...Josey Wales Molon Labe
