And I can show you neighborhoods in the burbs of Columbia where this exact thing happened. The put a few blocks of what was thriving suburban neighborhood under section 8. Now that side of town has become the light hood, most that could get out went elsewhere, and the schools and retail around that area are on a downward spiral. Sucks for those folks that bought into that area thinking they were getting into the best part of the metro area, only to have the city institute these rules and degrade their property value and living conditions. Glad these punitive rules from HUD are being eliminated. These kinds of rules show just how much the leftist elite hate the working middle class in this country.

All of us in Central Alabama who watched what happened to Montgomery since 2008 know it all too well. Nice apartment complexes one after the other fell into No-Go zones almost overnight since Obama.
