Massie is refusing to vote for the CR. Now Trump wants to primary him and compared Massie to Liz Cheney.

I'm not thrilled about a CR but realize they can't wade into a big budget debate with everything else going on and such a thin margin in the House. Let's get the tax cuts made permanent then focus on other items.

Do what’s right, for right now. If you refuse to see the big picture in this situation…..then get primaried. Rigidly

Common sense says that we cannot keep passing the buck. Fix it in Congress and move forward regardless of a government shutdown or how long it takes. Trump is great on a lot of levels but this is his Achilles Heal. He needs to stop slinging mud on anyone that disagrees with him, especially those who have a track record of cutting spending.

Comparing Massey to Cheney is just stupid. I'm as MAGA Trump as they come, but just because a fiscal conservative disagrees with you, doesn't make them a turn coat. The continual resolution has to stop. Balance the budget and stop the spending now.

Trump has a way of saying things to ruffle feathers, only to later walk back his comments. Do I think he should call out Massie for holding a hard fiscally responsible line? No. But I’ll reserve judgement until he actually does something like support a primary opponent for Massie. Probably a 95% chance nothing ever comes of this and Trump was just shooting from the hip because Massie was the lone hold out.

He’s gonna get out over his skis in a bit if he isn’t careful. Folks will begin to turn if he doesn’t tone down a tad.

Republicans are so weak. Going to turn on Trump after being in office for a month and a half??
