Gulf shores was nice before all the Midwest people overran it. You guys are just doing the same. So we should charge out of staters more for coming to the beach? Sounds welcoming

While I have not typically hunted Missouri, we travel significantly to hunt and fish. As a significant portion of all Fish & Wildlife funding comes from taxes in the form of funding from the Pittman-Robertson act, among others, it seems that all citizens should be allowed similar access to wild game pursuit, There is no problem with a non-resident paying a higher price than a resident, but it should not be punitive. I am certain that Missouri anglers and hunters who fish or hunt out of state would not be in favor of excessive fees when they do so. If it isn't appropriate for other states to charge Missouri residents excessively or limit their access, then we would respectfully ask for the same treatment.

Hunting is becoming a rich man’s sport. To many people think it’s cool to put their pictures on Facebook so they can claim to be a “trophy hunter”. It’s driving the price of everything way up The issue is until recently Missourians typically never had much of a leasing tradition. Just ask somebody to hunt and most of the time it was fine. Most Missourians have never paid to hunt. Things are changing and many don't like it.

The good and bad of it is that a relatively small percentage of MDC is funded by permit sales and federal reimbursements.

Sounds welcoming My county in GA only charged those with out of county plates to use the parks. IF I recall correctly Gulf Shores Park used to charge me less for being an alabama resident. In truth our tags are very easy to buy in Missouri. All are over the counter. It is simple supply and demand. Unless the state starts charging more to non-residents it will need to start rationing tags or lowering limits like the states to our north, west, and east. As a resident I don't want that.

Back in the 90s Maryland told Arkansas careful what you wish for you may just get it and they did. Maryland crashed their goose numbers. Arkansas has for now. Turkey hunting is no different, its all about the likes Missouri was a sleeper for deer too but words out. Arkansas has some sure enough toads if you know you know, those rich bottomlands produce. We’ve entered the “show me the money stage” Gotta consider the us population has almost doubled in the last 50 years.

I'm all in on charging any of these States additional money to come to the Beach. They have driven up the cost of everything on the Gulf Coast.
They are butthurt. Turns out people want to kill a nice deer. That's why we only get Cajuns and the Florida Man coming to AL.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I think any car with a license tag north of the Mason Dixon line should be stopped at the northern border. Troopers should drag all occupants out and severely beat them on the side of the road and ask them if they want to continue their trip.
