fladeerhntr OP 8 point Joined: Aug 2014 Posts: 1,925 Sneads, Florida	I've got a 2000 chevy silverado z71with the 5.3 engine that I'm starting to try to get back running and use as a hunting truck and just a backup vehicle. My question is for the guys that have this truck and have had to replace the engine did you get a long block or a complete engine and if you went the long block route how dependable are they and where did you buy it. The engine that is in it may be salvageable but I am hoping for the best and planning for the worst since it does now have 220,00 miles on it and I've owned it since it had 100,000 miles on it.
