Got a Polaris Ranger that has set on flats and the Side walls are dry rotted. There is a lot of tread left on them. Anyone had any luck putting tubes in this situation or waste of time? They will air up but go flat in a couple days. Sizes are 26x10x12 and 25x10x12 if it matters.
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!

You might want to look at tube prices and the cost to have them installed before you decide. I'm using a tube on my ATV rear tire.

You can try Flat out. It is similar to slime but uses Kevlar and works great. I’m not sure how it would work with sidewalls though

Problem with fix a flat and others is that they put a bead of sealant around the bead of the tire/wheel. Hard to break down to install new/tubes in wheels
It and Slime will also cause piths in aluminum rims and eventually the rim leaks.

I would tube them. I've had no problem with tubed ATV tires. Slime will work but it does make a mess for tire replacement down the road and you will have to remove the wheel to get the slime to the side walls.

Tubes are OK ................... till they get a hole in them. If the sidewalls are rotted , sounds like new tire time. A smart feller told me bout 50 years ago , the best way to avoid flats is to keep good tires on your ride.
