I was hanging out with a bunch of buddies Saturday night and was talking to them about the rumblings I heard about the trade deal with China. I told them straight up, the stock market will crush it on Monday...

I got into AMD, VOO, NCLH, SPY and TSLA back when everything was falling, but I didn't wait long enough until it hit bottom. Fortunately I'm above water on all of it as of today. Let's hope it holds and keeps building.

Our 401k's won't post up until overnight, hoping for good results out of them tomorrow morning...

I don’t quite understand the run up in bitcoin. I have a couple of mining stocks that jumped this morning. I’m still about 6% down from the high water mark of Feb 13.

I didn't know Bitcoin had a run up. Doesn't makes sense, but Bitcoin doesn't make sense to me anyway.

My 401k is about $10k shy of where it was on February 14th. Mrs. Irish and I should both hit an all time high tomorrow morning I hope.

I've got to roll over 3 nice sized CD's on the 20th, so I'm hoping the interest rate stay high for at least another week or so.

From what I’ve read looks like rates will stay high. You know what they say, the market takes the stairs up and the elevator down. Lol

They, those who could capitalize on the news before markets open, gave themselves a bit of relief. The rest of us are still being played.

What’s the good news? A 90 day suspension?

I think the market responded to the deal with the UK and the deal with China. It doesn't matter if any real progress was made or a long term deal was not signed, the only thing that matters to "The Market" is the perception of whatever is happening or the perception of whatever people think is going to happen.

The only progress I see is the tall gay guy, Basset is his name I think, has grabbed the reigns
The other problem is this so called big beautiful bill racks up 20 trillion in debt over 10 years as written.
If we don’t fix this national debt I’m afraid my girls won’t have a country. I had hoped that would have been a priority, so yes, I’m disappointed in the way things are going. I’m pleased with mostly everything else.

One trade deal with the UK done, 199 to go….
Scratch that… Well, not quite a “deal,” More like a concept of a plan: a framework for negotiations between the United States and the United Kingdom that will take place between the two countries over the next several months or years … to hammer out a potential future trade agreement … that may or may not ultimately prove more beneficial to the United States than the existing trade situation.
So yeah, if he said that you’re correct

You seem to have all the criticism. I don't see you providing many answers. Just bitching and moaning about the mans efforts to put the US first. I was raised to provide a solution to a problem when complaining about a problem.

You seem to be raised to pop that mouth off continually with nothing but negative. No answers. No solutions. Just bitchy Karen types who wish they had more power than they do. Ultimately, they all turn out to be hollow idiots who just aren't happy with anything. Sad pathetic people.

I don't remember seeing your name on any ballots. I'd suggest you go ahead and start now, something local. Let me know where and what and I'll campaign for you. You can work your way all the way up to where you have the power to make lives better and I'll support you on each level. Just let us know when you get started.

That's right , it took decades to get where we are . If anyone can expedite correcting it , it's DJT, but even he can't do it in 100 days. He knows this is high stakes and doesn't have much time until the mid-terms start cranking up. He does have about a year , DJT, sitting in the Oval Office can get a lot done in a year. Be patient fellers.

I’m glad he’s tackling it. It’s the mixed messaging that irritates me. One day we’re bringing manufacturing back to America, the next day we’re going to just trade with China. Last week we were going to isolate China and work on trade deals then suddenly we are meeting with China. It has seemed to me that since day one there has been a haphazard approach. From the moment he showed the chart that looked like a 6th grader made it’s been confusing. I honestly think if Basset had not taken over things would have gotten bad. Now with the 90 day pause he has given Powell a reason to hold interest rates steady until the fall. I’ll be branded a communist and a liberal for this opinion, and mind you, it’s nothing but an opinion
