Ultimately a lot if not most of our economic problems are due to inflation. Don’t care how smart you are there’s only 2 real fixes for it: raising interest rates enough to where normal folks can’t afford it until some of the “money” comes back home through repayment of loans or crashing the whole system and starting over. Both options will not be fun or quick. Outside of those 2 things the current cycle will repeat. Republican, democrat etc it doesn’t matter that’s the only way to fix it. These tariffs essentially function the same way. It’s going to price alot of folks out of markets. Everybody always says they want to make it better for their kids. Well this is the best option we have and frankly the only administration to address the problem thus far. I like Trump but I don’t think he’s the savior some think he is. So buckle up buttercup. It’s going to be a rough ride. This will fix it or crash it. Either way it’s going to suck but should be better on the other side

Elon was critical of tariffs on Europe. He wants free-trade with Europe and that would be great. He also acknowledged in the same interview that Europe has a lot of work to do in order to get to a point where they can be good enough to do a free trade agreement with. He went on to say that Europe has an immigration problem worse than ours that must be resolved and that certain economic restructuring needs to be done within Europe before free-trade with them can occur.

I heard Buffet say Trump was doing some of the best financial stuff for this country in 50yrs and surely you wouldnt expect Trump to not play golf for 4yrs. Its not even debatable that hes the hardest working president weve ever had. He seldom ever sleeps and is working almost 100% of the time hes awake, one way or another. Youre grasping at straws. Backwardscowboy, i gave my life to the Lord about 17yrs ago. Thats the only thing that changed anything for me. Only thing that has ever made a difference. My personal econemy has grown by leaps and bounds every year since then. Through Obama, we did fine. Through Trump1 we did even better, through covid better than ever, through bidun just kept getting better, through Trump2 so far been getting better. Thats a fact. Prices dont go down, they go up. So, for financial growth a ersons income must go up. The Lord owns all the money, he cn and will dole it out as he sees fit. I full expect to prosper for the next four years because thats what God promised me. So yes, im ready for whatever happens and getting more ready all the time. The Lord has been an awesome provider for my family and i fully expecy he will just keep right on providing for us. I would recommend any human give their life, their future and their well being to him. That way all these things other humans do wont bother them so much and they can have peace, even when the future seems uncertain. Thats my plan. Its worked without fail for years now when every other plan i ever came up with myself failed eventually. Lets do talk about this again in four years and see how it goes. I bet my testamny will be th same as it was four years ago when people were hiding, wearing masks and living in fear. God told me to just keep on going like i was going. I did that and we flourished.
