Exactly. These 4 service members were not killed in combat or by a hostile nation. It was simply a tragic training accident. With our military tempo, training injuries and deaths are an inevitable and regular occurrence.. Between 2006 and 2020, our military lost 5605 to non-combat training deaths. Roughly 400 per year. It’s a dangerous job. Unfortunately there’s just no way the president can be expected to attend every single one.
