Just received my 1st price increase (7%) announcement for imported products. This is from 1 supplier. I'm sure when word hits the street the rest will follow suit. I hope it's short lived but I'm not counting on it. I'm raising my price on those products today as well. I expect the US built supply chain to announce their increases before the weeks end.

I would imagine it is. In my industry (Tires/Auto Parts), even the US built products rely heavily on imported products to build the stuff here so, they still have a tariff element. Also, the Major Brand Products (Michelin, Continental, Bridgestone, etc) are going to maintain the price gap between themselves and the imported cheap stuff. So, if the Chinese tire goes up 7%, The Majors will raise prices to reflect that.

I was just kidding with you since you didn't mention which retail. like always though iam pretty sure prices won't come back down as fast as they went up, and the stock market won't go up as fast as it went down. That I can guarantee.

Amazon and Walmart are on about a 3 month stock cycle for their cheap Chinese stuff. So basically you have about that long before things get noticeably higher at those kinds of businesses.
I think I'm going to run back over to DG and pick this item up before it goes to $6.00.

The end game is to no longer play the globalist political game that has drug our country into trillions upon trillions of dollars of debt. Eliminate the corruption and entitlement that the rest of the world expects from the US, and make everyone pay their fair share. The stock market hiccup is temporary based on uncertainty. You have lost nothing until you sell, so don't panic and ride it out. If you're at retirement age and you're so heavily invested in equities that you lost 20% of your retirement, then that's on you and or your advisor. Don't blame Trump for doing what he promised, to put America first.
