There is a Kioti dealer over there in Prattville. They seem to be solid machines. (pronounced coyote).

Where? Their website says Coblentz in Montgomery is closest.

I've heard pretty good about Kioti as well.

Get a Kubota! have a 2021 Kubota L3901 with almost 900 hours and it has been a solid machine with no major issues.

I bought a Kubota 4802 yesterday. I thought about a Mahindra, but I kept reading about folks having trouble getting parts. Thought hard about a 50hp Kioti. I have a few friends with Kioti/Bobcat tractors that love them. The reason, I didn't go that route is it was going to be within $1500 or so from the Kubota, and I felt that if I decided I wanted something different later on, the Kubota would have more resale value. We never had a JD tractor at work, but had a JD tiller and a batwing mower. It seemed all the parts were JD only and couldn't be bought at local parts houses and JD charged an arm and a leg for them. I've also heard similar stories about their tractors and that worried me. We've got a Massey and 2 Kubotas at work and they've all been good tractors. I bought the shuttle shift model. The tractors we have at work are shuttle shift and I always liked them. If I used a hydro trans, I might have preferred it, but it was more money and I was already used to the shuttle shift. The more I play on it, the more I like it.

Kubota MX6000 here. Very solid tractor. I’m at 285hrs with no issues. I do wish I would’ve bought one of the models with a wider stance but overall I have no complaints about anything.

I don't see it now, maybe they closed? I was looking around before buying my Kubota.

I went to a focus group on sub compact tractors. They had 6. A John Deere, Kubota, Kioti, LS, Massey, and a TYM. All but the Kubota had the same pedals. The JD won the group vote for best. I liked the TYM, it had bigger wheels and tires on it. The Kioti was also nice. We got to use them with a FEL and a box blade.

I prefer the JD pedal setup over the Kubota style.

I have the Kubota MX5100. It has 245 hrs with no issue, I would buy another one.
